I sit quietly on the ground, admiring the very large dragon before me; the dragon has a simple gaze aimed at me, too. We both watch each other with a dumb grin plastered across our faces. I wake up with a start; early mornings have always been my thing – I find it rather lucky that I’m able to awaken immediately. Getting out of the simple white bed, I move through the narrow doorway. Whew! Edit done! I fixed your tenses, dear, a few typeos, nothing major, you're getting better! Wow, that was a long one though, I'm exhausted! Writing in the present tense is HARD!!!

Okay: as to the actual "work" itself: I love this piece! Dangerous, drawn-out suspense, such a brief, mind-shattering reunion! Wow! And the end bit, OMG! Crazy! Wow, this is really moving along, dear. Can't wait to see what happens next!
